The connection between Travis Scott and WWE has seemingly deteriorated in recent weeks, raising questions and speculation among fans and industry insiders alike.
Previously, Scott played a pivotal role in various WWE storylines and was a notable figure during the main event of WrestleMania 41, where he was involved in the high-stakes match between Cody Rhodes and John Cena.
Since that event, the rapper has been noticeably absent, leading to rampant rumors that Travis Scott and WWE are no longer aligned in their creative direction and partnership.
On Ariel Helwani’s show, prominent WWE performer Paul Heyman addressed Scott’s unexpected absence from the ongoing WWE programming.

Heyman succinctly stated: “It fell apart and we moved forward without.” This remark suggests a definitive break in their collaboration.
When asked to clarify what exactly fell apart, Heyman elaborated, “The whole deal with Travis Scott.” This comment indicates that the partnership had significant expectations which ultimately were not met.
Additionally, WWE superstar Drew McIntyre publicly criticized Scott, stating: “Do a six minute run-in at WrestleMania and screw up our damn main event. Travis Scott. Piece of shit.” This comment highlights the frustration within the WWE community regarding Scott’s involvement.
As of now, La Flame has yet to publicly respond to the ongoing rumors about his status with WWE, leaving fans in suspense.
Following his appearance at WrestleMania 41, Scott seemed enthusiastic about returning to the WWE ring, yet he has not made any further appearances in the programming since that event.
On his Instagram, Travis shared photos from his WrestleMania appearance, captioning them, “I DONT WANT A RECEIPT I WANT BLOOOODDD AFTER JACKBOYS 2 I NEEEEEDDD THAT.” This statement suggests he is eager for future involvement.
During the match at WrestleMania, Scott endured some intense moments, particularly when Rhodes executed his signature finishing move, the Cross Rhodes, which left the Hip Hop superstar momentarily flattened.
Prior to this, Cody Rhodes had warned Scott that he should expect a receipt after Scott had struck him at Elimination Chamber in February.
In that altercation, La Flame managed to land a solid punch on Rhodes while he was down, resulting in a black eye and a ruptured eardrum for the seasoned wrestler.
Weeks later, in an interview with Complex, Rhodes expressed his intention to reciprocate the physicality he experienced at the hands of Scott.
“That’s wrestling. Beat me up, I’m gonna beat you up. I am not mad so much, but I am looking and my eyes are open for what we inevitably, what we’ll call a receipt,” he explained. “If Travis Scott ever makes his way back into the WWE fray, maybe there’s a receipt for Travis.”
Rhodes also added, “Prior to this, though, by the way, I was a Travis Scott fan! I bought those sneakers.” This statement indicates that despite the current tensions, he still holds admiration for Scott’s artistry.
