Yella Beezy Pens Emotional Message After His Mother’s Death

On Sunday, Yella Beezy posted 20 slides of memories featuring his mom, including selfies with him and her grandchild, as well as FaceTime screenshots. The rapper expressed his pain over losing his “mama…sister…best friend…world and everything.” He shared that he feels “empty” and mentioned this is the first time she has disappointed him by leaving when he needs her the most.

“I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy…. My BaccBone, My life …. How am I supposed to live without you? Who am I supposed to talk to every day? Send reels to? Who am I supposed to argue with? It’s been me and you against the world since birth. Nobody can go to war for me like you. Stand up for me, protect me and my name through it all. God, you don’t make mistakes, and I’ll never question you. I’m never going against you. Neither will I ever doubt you but I’m hurt and lost and need your strength. Mama, this is the first time you ever let me down because why would you leave me knowing I need you? … baby I’m torn!!! I’m sorry but I just need you but God needed you more.”

Yella Beezy expressed that he will miss their conversations, her energy, how she lights up a room, her smile, and her unwavering support for him and their family. Despite how unfair it feels, the rapper is confident that his mother is in Heaven.

Celebs And Roommates Send Yella Beezy Well Wishes

After The Shade Room shared Yella Beezy’s touching message, over 6,000 roommates, including celebrities, expressed their condolences. Porsha Williams and Tommie Lee posted prayer hand emojis while Ayesha Howard—who shares children with Lil Baby and Anthony Edwards—wrote, “May God lift him in this time of mourning.”

Rapper Absent From Court In Mo3 Case Amid Mom’s Death

According to Fox 4 KDFW, Yella Beezy chose not to attend a court appearance on Friday (Jan. 16) following his mother’s passing. He had a pre-trial hearing scheduled regarding his alleged involvement in the murder-for-hire plot that led to Mo3’s death in 2020. His lawyers and prosecutors are expected to return to court this week with pre-trial motions and potential trial dates. His jury trial is set to begin on Feb. 2, but that date may change.

As previously reported, police arrested Yella Beezy in March 2025, accusing him of orchestrating the “hit” on Mo3. The rapper was shot on November 11, 2020 while driving in Dallas. Beezy was released last year on a $750,000 bond after it was reduced from $2 million. He is currently under house arrest with electronic monitoring. His bond conditions permit him to continue working in music, including leaving the house once a week for up to five hours to record in the studio. His latest single ‘Blame It On Me’ was released in September 2025.
