The new owner of Jeffrey Epstein‘s infamous Zorro Ranch in New Mexico is speaking out, asserting that the property was never inspected by police despite multiple allegations of women and girls being sex trafficked there for years.
Don Huffines — a wealthy Texas businessman and former Republican state senator with connections to MAGA — shared a message on X Monday night, stating he and his family acquired the ranch in 2024 and “maintained an open line of communication with local authorities.”
In 2023, four years after Epstein’s death, San Rafael Ranch had been on the market for years and was set for public auction.

However, law enforcement never sought access to the Santa Fe property even though Epstein faced accusations of sex trafficking and assaulting women and girls there during his lifetime, according to Huffines. There were also rumors of bodies being buried on the property … but that was never substantiated.
In his X post, Huffines emphasized that he always made it clear he would permit police full access to the property with his complete cooperation, yet authorities never accepted his offer.

Now, Huffines is repurposing the property by renaming it San Rafael Ranch — after the saint associated with healing — and transforming it into a Christian retreat. He and his family purchased the ranch four years after Epstein’s death at a public auction.
In 2019, Epstein died by suicide in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
