One of 2023’s most underrated sci-fi films is included in this week’s Hulu releases.
Arriving on Hulu on June 20, The Creator drops viewers into a future torn apart by war between humans and AI. John David Washington stars as Joshua, a grieving ex-special forces operative sent to take out a powerful AI weapon. Instead, he finds Alphie, a young android girl played by Madeleine Yuna Voyles, and ends up shielding her from the military forces hunting her.
Also debuting this week is Hulu Original Never Change!, premiering on June 17. The 2026 absurdist comedy from writer John Reynolds and director Marty Schousboe follows the North Meadows High class of 2008. A legal loophole reveals they didn’t complete enough school days because of a tornado. Then, in their mid-30s, they’re forced to return to finish their senior year.
Meanwhile, horror lovers are in luck as Evil Lives Here: Complete Seasons 12 & 17 release this week on Hulu on June 20. Evil Lives Here is a true-crime series from Investigation Discovery. It unpacks the disturbing reality of those who shared their homes and lives with killers, sociopaths, and abusers for years.
Furthermore, the series relies on firsthand accounts and dramatic reenactments, told through the perspectives of the perpetrators’ family members, partners, and close friends.
