“After everything I’ve gone through personally and professionally, to see this whole thing come full circle in such a profound way, there have definitely been some watery-eyed nights.”

“I thank God for giving me this opportunity again,” Stapp shared with host Chuck Armstrong, conveying a deep sense of appreciation.
“Right now, I’m fully immersed in the present, embracing life one day at a time. My focus is entirely on what’s in front of me, including the exciting Creed cruise scheduled for April and the Creed tour in July, along with promoting Higher Power.”
While he is enjoying the current moment, Stapp hinted at future projects that are also on his mind.
“I have some exciting surprises in the works,” he revealed.
“I am looking ahead, and there will be new musical endeavors unfolding this year.”
Scott Stapp’s Insights on Engaging New Generations of Fans
During his reflection on his career, Stapp emphasized the humbling experience of witnessing new generations of fans discovering and connecting with the music he has contributed to over the years.
“What other bands have experienced such a resurgence?” he pondered. “We transitioned from being absent to making a comeback that’s even bigger than before.”
As he shared this sentiment, the names of legendary bands like The Doors and Aerosmith sprang to mind.
“To be mentioned alongside those iconic bands ? and likely others I’m forgetting ? is both an honor and a privilege,” Stapp remarked.
“I don?t want to sound clichéd, but it truly embodies what I feel inside: an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I never imagined that after stepping back, this kind of revival would be possible.”
Stapp recalled when he began his solo career; the thought of a Creed reunion was far from his mind.
“I was grinding it out in clubs, starting from scratch as if Creed had never existed,” he confessed.
