Let’s talk about the latest drama! Roommates, someone had Roddy Ricch laughing last night (August 25), and fans online are trying to figure out WHO! There’s a debate on whether his recent post pertains to his son’s mother, Allie Kay, or India Love. Before Roddy’s cryptic laughter, a video of the women in a shady exchange went viral. Allie Kay appeared to be the aggressor, but it’s unclear where the tension is coming from and whether it relates to dating rumors from five years ago! According to Allie, though, the issue involves her and Roddy’s son, Kadence.

Allie Kay Confronts India Love In Public
While Roddy Ricch might be laughing, Allie Kay was doing the opposite in the trending clip with India Love. In the viral clip shared by Live Bitez, Allie is seen approaching the influencer, asking, “What’s up?” India immediately responds, “What do you need? Are you okay? You don’t need nothing.” Allie seemingly said something else that the video audio doesn’t capture. However, India is heard saying, “What do you want to do? I’m confused,” before walking away.
The timing of the video and the event they were attending remain unclear. Additionally, it doesn’t appear that Roddy Ricch—their seemingly only connection—was present with either of them.
In another clip, India Love expresses her confusion about the situation to another woman. She even seemed to reference Roddy, stating that Allie Kay approached her “itching” over a “n***a I don’t even think about no more.” She also implied that it has been seven years since any involvement with Roddy Ricch.
Allie Kay Says India Disrespected Her Child
It’s worth noting that India Love first sparked dating rumors after posting a poolside video of Roddy Ricch in February 2020. In the video, she was sunbathing while the rapper spoke on the phone a few feet away. At that time, they were both in Miami for Super Bowl LIV, and as rumors spread, she commented on The Shade Room’s post to clarify.
“Roddy and I aren’t together… & I apologize for the accidental video post that led to that assumption. Two friends who enjoy each other’s time. That’s literally life,” India wrote in 2020.
With that context in mind, let’s discuss what Allie Kay said after her confrontational moment went viral. On Monday night, the mother clarified her tension with India Love through several posts on Instagram Story, including one calling out the influencer for claiming to be seven years done with Roddy. She also mentioned she never attended school with India.
“I let you slide for 5 because nobody was tripping off a goer. I respect the hustle,” Allie Kay wrote. Adding, “Over a BOY?!! If he’s not MINE, he ain’t MY problem. Y’all only know one piece of the story and trust me I hear y’all, but I don’t lol. This AIN’T THAT. If you think I’m trippin’, I AM. Y’all let people disrespect you and your kid if y’all want to. Not I.”
Allie Kay also alleged that India Love’s friend “put his hands on” her before stating “Stop letting people lie to y’all so easily.” She added, “STOP PLAYING WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT THE TRUTH IS.”
Roddy Ricch Enters The Chat
As for Roddy Ricch, he caused a slight frenzy among fans waiting for his response to the confrontation between the women. Rather than speak out directly, the rapper teased fans by posting a single laughing emoticon on his IG Story along with the song ‘I Wish’ by Carl Thomas attached. The portion of the song he chose goes like this: “And I wish I never met her, even though I love her so and she got love…”
For now, Roddy hasn’t clarified whether India Love disrespected his son. However, earlier this year, he made it clear that he doesn’t play around when it comes to Kadence—even if it’s Allie who he has to check!
