Celebrities continue to grace the cover of British Harper’s Bazaar. Notable names like Jennifer Aniston, Dua Lipa, Mariah Carey, Pamela Anderson, Rosamund Pike, Jodie Turner-Smith, Claire Foy, Rebecca Ferguson, and Rachel Zegler have recently featured in this British Hearst-owned fashion magazine. For the May 2026 edition, Lydia Slater chooses to adapt the American Bazaar‘s current cover story featuring Anne Hathaway. Captured by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, the Oscar Award-winning actress poses with her head thrown back in a glamorous cover shot, showcasing voluminous hair, a smokey eye, and a striking red lip. Styled by Beat Bolliger, Anne dons a jacket from Pierpaolo Piccioli’s debut Spring 2026 Balenciaga collection.

“I was hoping there’d be a reprint of the US cover. It’s a closer crop of the cover image with more wording around it. The US version also chose a red masthead to harmonize with the lipstick. The blue seems colder and less glamorous. I really would have preferred the red,” shared tigerrouge immediately.
“Looking at both the US and UK versions of this cover, I personally prefer the UK version,” responded MModa. “The blue masthead looks edgier in my opinion and contrasts nicely with the red lipstick.”
“I think it would’ve been better if it was in cobalt blue,” voiced forum member crmsn.
“One of the very rare occasions when I do not mind seeing a reprint. I loved the American cover and I love this just as much. The art direction is what makes this whole cover work. A very strong cover photograph is complemented by great text placement and easy-on-the-eye fonts with a fabulous color combination. Very nicely done!” applauded vogue28.
