The beloved Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta community is mourning the loss of one of its cherished members.

Khadiyah “KD” Lewis tragically passed away on May 30 at the age of 44, as revealed by her brother, Jamaal “Jay” Lewis. At this time, the specific cause of her death remains undisclosed, leaving fans and family searching for answers.

“This has been an incredibly emotionally devastating time for our family,” he expressed in a heartfelt statement to The Shade Room on June 5. “We deeply appreciate all prayers, condolences, and well wishes during this difficult period.” The outpouring of support showcases the strong bonds within the Love & Hip Hop family and the impact Khadiyah had on many lives.

Khadiyah’s younger brother, Elijah Inegbedion, also expressed his sorrow regarding her untimely passing. In a moving Facebook tribute to the reality star, he shared, “I’ve been at a loss for words for several days now. To think that I’ll find the words to encapsulate the person you were and the legacy you left behind seems impossible.”

He continued, “Long Live my sister Khadiyah Lewis.” He emphasized that she left behind a remarkable legacy that most individuals can only aspire to achieve. “Thank you for loving me as you did and for always having my back, no matter the circumstances.” This heartfelt acknowledgment reflects the deep familial love and admiration that Khadiyah cultivated throughout her life.
