Bailey Zimmerman Faces Felony Charge, Arrest Warrant for Allegedly Causing $16K in Damage to Hotel Room
Bailey Zimmerman is currently facing legal issues with authorities in New Mexico.
The country music artist is charged with a fourth-degree felony for criminal damage to property exceeding $1,000 and a misdemeanor for falsely obtaining services, as per charges filed on June 18, according to court records reviewed by E! News.
E! has reached out to Zimmerman’s representative for comment but has not received a response.
The charges stem from an incident where Zimmerman allegedly caused over $16,000 in damages at the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque on May 27, coinciding with the cancellation of his concert at the hotel, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by People.
The warrant indicated that the 26-year-old “appeared to be exhibiting signs of intoxication” during sound check that day, reportedly stumbling into the amphitheater “before tripping over the stage and falling backward.” He then allegedly threw two cymbals, kicked a drum set, pushed a guitarist, and knocked down a microphone before leaving the stage “angrily.”
