Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 trailer released by Prime Video

Prime Video just unveiled the official trailer for Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2. It builds on the first season’s legacy of delivering grounded and gripping stories from the streets of Gotham City.

The trailer centers on The Riddler, also known as Edward Nygma, as he unleashes chaos across Gotham and joins forces with Poison Ivy. His actions have led to panic across Gotham, with crime rates skyrocketing. Batman, once again, is at the forefront to defend the city.

Season 2 will also introduce several notable villains, including the Mad Hatter, Roxy Rocket, and Scarecrow. The trailer additionally offers a glimpse at Joker, who only appeared briefly at the end of Season 1. Here, he tells Batman, “I’ve come to show you what you are.” It appears that he has big plans for the Dark Knight.

Bruce Timm and James Tucker serve as showrunners and executive producers alongside Matt Reeves, J. J. Abrams, Ed Brubaker, Daniel Pipski, Rachel Rusch Rich, and Sam Register.

Batman: Caped Crusader is the reimagining of Batman’s early years as Gotham City’s vigilante. Set in a world inspired by the 1940s and 1960s, the series follows Bruce Wayne as he wages a war against mounting corruption and emerging supervillains. The voice cast includes Hamish Linklater, Jason Watkins, Jamie Chung, Diedrich Bader, Krystal Joy Brown, and Bumper Robinson, among others.
