The Battlestar Galactica franchise is officially returning in 2027, with Ghost Galaxy announcing a brand-new edition of the beloved 2008 board game originally released by Fantasy Flight Games.

Developed under a licensing agreement with Universal, the upcoming release will update Corey Konieczka’s original design, which proved popular enough to spawn three expansions. The new edition is scheduled to launch through crowdfunding in 2027, although an official retail release date has yet to be announced (via ICv2).

More to come.
