BLACKPINK’s Lisa arrived at the VMAs in a striking red look, and her sheer dress was just one element of the overall drama. She complemented The Attico dress with a towering red fur coat. Looking stunning in an all-red monochromatic ensemble, the singer made a bold style statement, while her biggest surprise was at her fingertips.
BLACKPINK Lisa’s completely sheer The Attico dress goes perfectly red-hot at VMAs
Lisa’s VMAs appearance came with a reason to celebrate, as she won the Best Pop award. Her outfit matched the occasion perfectly. A sheer dress in red from The Attico set the tone, and she paired it with a Quine Li coat in the same color. The dress features a corset-style bodice with structured bustier cups, and sheer mesh panels line the sides. Below the waist, the fitted skirt flares softly at the hem.
Designer Quine Li credited Georgia Pendlebury with the styling. The coat’s oversized shoulders framed Lisa’s face, while a long, plush trail followed behind her.
The 29-year-old singer let her dramatic outfit steal the spotlight with an otherwise sleek look. She styled her hair in a high ponytail with a red accent at the top, paired with blunt bangs. Winged eyeliner and a soft, neutral lip kept the focus on the red-hot palette. She finished her look with pointed red heels and chunky rings.
Then came the nails, which paid tribute to the singer’s Thai heritage. Her nail artist, Alvear, shared that the set was “inspired and a nod to traditional Thai dance finger caps.” At the VMAs, Lisa completed her red-hot sheer dress look with long, tapered tips in a nude shade. The tips curve like claws and feature small red and clear gems. Alvear’s carousel also included a photo of gold finger caps.
Together, the look balanced drama with detail, and the appearance drew on a full creative team, from wardrobe to her fingertips.
