Britney Spears Rehab Insights from Kevin Federline

Kevin Federline Responds to Britney Spears Seeking Treatment After DUI Arrest

Kevin Federline, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, is hopeful for a brighter future.

After the singer of “Toxic” voluntarily entered a treatment facility, Kevin’s attorney provided insight into how the dancer—who shares sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, with Britney—is feeling about this situation.

“Kevin is aware of the reports that she has checked into rehab,” his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan stated to TMZ in a statement published on April 13, “and that if she needs help, he is glad that she is receiving it and that the decision seems to be one made by her and not imposed by others.”

He continued, “The key is that whatever the recommended treatment plan is, she should follow it and complete it.”

The news of Britney’s treatment emerged one month after her arrest for driving under the influence in California.

After her release from police custody, a representative for the Grammy winner told E! News, “This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable.”
