Brittany Mahomes will always be Patrick Mahomes’ biggest supporter.
Months after the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback tore both the ACL and LCL in his left leg during an NFL game last December, his wife expressed her joy at seeing him back on the field.
“Seeing him back doing what he loves,” Brittany wrote on Instagram Stories July 25 alongside a reshared video of Patrick heading to training camp. “So thankful.”
Patrick sustained the season-ending injury last December in a tense match against the Los Angeles Chargers, sidelining him for the remainder of the Chiefs’ challenging 2025-2026 season.
However, just last month, the 30-year-old demonstrated he’d be back and better than ever for the upcoming football season as he signed a two-year contract extension with the NFL team valued at over $500 million, according to his agency.
“The magic continues,” Equity Sports announced in a June 10 X post. “Congratulations @PatrickMahomes on signing the largest contract in NFL history… yet again. $504.75M. Historic. Game-changing. Record breaker.”
After news broke of the historic deal, Patrick—who has played for the Chiefs throughout his entire NFL career—shared he couldn’t be happier to be returning to the team he calls home.
