Bunnie Xo is addressing one of the more unusual rumors that surfaced following her divorce from Jelly Roll. After speculation circulated online that she had begun dating Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, Bunnie Xo utilized a recent episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast to clarify the situation.

And she was quite direct.

“I am not with Daddy Chaddy,” she stated.

How Did the Chad Kroeger Rumor Begin?

According to Bunnie Xo, the rumor stemmed from some unfortunate timing.

She explained that she hadn’t been actively sharing new content during what she referred to as a healing phase after her split from Jelly Roll. Instead, she posted an older video of herself singing along to Nickelback’s hit song “How You Remind Me.”

“The news drops, I have fucking Nickelback on my page,” she remarked.

Bunnie Xo emphasized that she was unaware of when news of the divorce would be made public and insisted that the timing was purely coincidental.

The footage, she clarified, was recorded during one of Jelly Roll’s Las Vegas performances earlier this year.

Clarifying the Dating Speculation

Bunnie Xo also addressed another aspect that seems to have fueled the rumors.

She disclosed that her nickname for Kroeger — “Daddy Chaddy” — was never intended to be taken seriously. “It was a joke,” she noted.

As the rumor continued to circulate, some online commenters even suggested that she had left Jelly Roll for the Nickelback singer.

Bunnie Xo firmly dismissed that narrative. “There’s no fucking way in hell that that would even be a thing,” she asserted. “And no, I did not cheat on my husband and leave him for Chad.”

She later expressed her apologies directly to Kroeger and Nickelback for being caught up in the internet frenzy.

This is so wrong. I am not dating Chad Kroeger. I am so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for this happening. It’s embarrassing.

She added, “So there is no Chad and Bunnie Xo.”

Jelly Roll Supported Her Statement

Hours after Bunnie Xo addressed the rumors, Jelly Roll publicly spoke about the divorce for the first time during a concert stop in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

The singer also refuted speculation that infidelity played any part in their separation.

“Nobody cheated on nobody,” Jelly Roll told the audience. “She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth.”

Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tenn., on May 18 after nearly 10 years of marriage. Court records indicate May 9 as the couple’s date of separation and cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
