Celine Dion Shares Emotional Message About “Rocky” Health Battle During First Concert in 6 Years
Carrot Top is on the mend.
After the comedian (real name Scott Thompson) was hospitalized in Las Vegas, where he has hosted a residency for more than 20 years, his representative shared an update on his condition.
“Mr. Thompson is recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs,” his representative Jami Schlicher told Entertainment Weekly in a statement on September 19. “His family and those closest to him are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers and respectfully ask for privacy.”
The Luxor Hotel and Casino, where he has hosted his nightly comedy special since 2005, also expressed well-wishes for the 61-year-old.
“Scott is a beloved member of the Luxor and MGM Resorts family, and we are relieved to hear that he is recovering,” the Luxor Hotel and Casino told KLAS. “We are thinking of him and wish him strength as he receives the care and support he needs.”
