Jeremy Renner is responding to filmmaker Yi Zhou by issuing a cease and desist letter that denies allegations of a romantic relationship, while also accusing her of making aggressive advances and sending inappropriate messages.
Renner’s attorney, Marty Singer, sent the letter to Zhou on Friday, which TMZ has acquired. The letter states that Renner agreed to be part of Zhou’s documentary, “Chronicles of Disney,” but claims that during their first meeting in July, Zhou made an advance towards him.

Renner claims they had a “brief consensual encounter,” and when they met again in August, he expressed that he was not interested in a sexual relationship and placed her in the guest bedroom that night.
However, Renner alleges that Zhou could not keep her hands off him when he drove her to the airport after their collaboration in August. He further claims that Zhou sent him hundreds of explicit text messages asking to be with him and demanding sex.
In one shocking message, Zhou reportedly wrote … “I want him inside of me so badly so so badly f**k me, babe.” In another message, she allegedly mentioned playing with Renner’s “fake giant thing” while thinking about “the real giant.”
The Marvel star asserts that he has never given Zhou any reason to believe they were anything other than platonic colleagues after their first and only consensual encounter. He also accuses Zhou of threatening to “harm him publicly” unless he promotes her documentary and falsely portrays them as a couple.
Finally, Renner warns Zhou that if she continues spreading “false, fabricated and salacious lies,” she will face legal action and potentially millions of dollars in liability.
Zhou recently went public with her claims in the Daily Mail and on social media, asserting that Renner was the one pursuing her relentlessly and sending her intimate photos and pornographic videos before convincing her to date him.
She alleges they worked together on the documentary but that things soured quickly, even claiming he threatened to call ICE on her.

We reached out to Zhou regarding Renner’s cease-and-desist letter, and she informed us that she sent Renner three cease-and-desist letters of her own over the past month.
In her letters, obtained by TMZ, Zhou again accuses Renner of sending her messages of a “sexual or suggestive nature” and requesting similar content, which caused her “discomfort and distress.”

She further warned Renner against defaming her by spreading false information, urged him to stop sending sexual messages, and demanded he cease threatening, harassing, and attempting to blackmail her or she would take legal action against him.
Stay tuned. This situation is escalating.
