Nicole Kidman wore a Chanel jacket and skirt from the Resort 2027 collection, also known as Cruise 2026/27. The set is covered in shimmering sequins in red, orange and gold.

On the runway, the jacket had a ruffled collar and a row of jeweled buttons. It also had flap pockets. The buttons added a bright accent against the sequins. On the cover, Kidman left the jacket undone. The open front showed her bare midriff. Underneath, she wore a Madre Natura bralette. The skimpy string style had thin straps and minimal coverage.

The delicate bralette contrasted with the heavy, textured sequins. The mix of hard sparkle and bare skin gave the look a daring edge. She clasped her hands in front of her chest. The pose drew attention to the glittering sleeves. The styling balances bold sensuality with the collection’s intricate craftsmanship.

Chanel says “mermaid” is a design principle in the collection. It centers on shimmering surfaces and dimensional decoration. The collection evokes the coast through texture rather than print, with knit, fringe, and handcrafted details.
