Colin Jost is pleased with his marriage story.

In addition to being “financially” advantageous, the 43-year-old shared what he appreciates most about being less famous than his wife Scarlett Johansson. 

“Just low expectations,” Colin told Carson Daly on the Today show on May 20, “you know, like you can be like, ‘Hey, what’s up? I’m here too.’”

Indeed, the Avengers star—who shares a 4-year-old son named Cosmo with Colin and a daughter named Rose, 11, with ex Romain Dauriac—has been acting since childhood. Consequently, the 41-year-old has been in the spotlight much longer than the Saturday Night Live cast member. 

However, Colin doesn’t mind being a plus one to the Marriage Story actress. Fellow “plus one fraternity” member Travis Kelce, who is engaged to Taylor Swift, shares this sentiment. In fact, as the NFL player joked during Colin’s May 13 appearance on his New Heights podcast, “How nice is it to be the less famous person in the relationship?”

With a laugh, Colin replied, “Huge relief. Really.”
