Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid Split After 10 Years Together

It’s the one where Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid go their separate ways.

The Friends actress and the Snow Patrol member—who started dating in 2013—have broken up, multiple outlets report.

Prior to their split, Cox, 62, and McDaid, 49, were last photographed together in September at the 2025 US Open.

E! News has reached out to the duo’s reps for comment and has not heard back.

Cox, mom to daughter Coco Arquette, 22, with ex-husband David Arquette, was first introduced to McDaid by Ed Sheeran, who brought him to a star-studded party at her house.

“I remember seeing Johnny and going, ‘Oh, wow, he’s intense, he’s got those eyes,'” Cox recalled on The Howard Stern Show in 2022. “And he was playing the piano and then I thought, ‘Oh, he’s really, really handsome.'”

Although they didn’t exchange numbers at the party, Cox later expressed her interest in the musician while chatting with pal Isla Fisher, who passed the information on to then-husband Sacha Baron Cohen. In turn, Cohen cheekily relayed the details to McDaid, who reached out to Cox “the next day” and took her on a date.
