COVID Diagnosis of Arina Grande During Wicked Press Tour

Ariana Grande Details Saying Goodbye to 5 Years of ‘Wicked’ With Cynthia Erivo

Ariana Grande has a concerning health update.

The Oscar nominee revealed that her New York City press tour for Wicked: For Good encountered a setback as she announced that she tested positive for COVID-19.

Alongside a black and white photo showcasing her impressive wand twirling skills during her Nov. 18 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ariana posted on her Instagram Story on Nov. 20, “moments before covid.”

Despite her health news, Ariana has reflected on her time in the Big Apple with castmates Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Bowen Yang, and Ethan Slater, as well as friends and family. In a Nov. 19 photo carousel, the “We Can’t Be Friends” singer shared additional black and white images of herself with director Jon M. Chu, arriving at the film’s premiere, and her dogs.

She also reminisced about their time on set, recalling a mishap she experienced with her wand while filming one of Glinda’s scenes.
