Cristiano Ronaldo Weds Georgina Rodríguez in Portugal Ceremony

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are wedding goals.

The couple—who began dating after meeting in Madrid in 2016—were married in an intimate ceremony in the soccer star’s home country on Aug. 11.

Ronaldo and Rodríguez announced their happy news in an Instagram post on Aug. 11, confirming they had tied the knot in a civil ceremony the same day in Cascais, Portugal, in a press release.

The nuptials come nearly a year after Ronaldo and Rodríguez announced their engagement in August 2025. In a post confirming the news, the model flashed her massive ring as she placed her hand over the Portuguese footballer’s hand.

“Yes, I do,” the I Am Georgina star wrote on Instagram at the time, translated from Spanish. “In this and all my lives.”

Long before they tied the knot, the pair had already begun growing their family, which includes the athlete’s eldest son Cristiano Jr, 16, twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 8, as well as his and Rodríguez’s daughters Alana, 7, and Bella, 3. (Ronaldo and Rodríguez also announced the heartbreaking death of their baby boy Ángel in April 2022.)
