“You are facing a serious addiction, and it is crucial to be honest with your doctor,” she emphasized with concern. “Jax, you are struggling with a significant cocaine issue. Everyone around you is aware of it. It’s time to confront this reality. Be truthful with the doctor about your situation.”
When he shot back with, “Have you never tried it?” an emotionally charged Brittany responded fiercely, “I’m not claiming I’ve never experimented, but the fact remains that you are the one battling an addiction. Let’s do a drug test right now; I am confident I will pass. But what about you?!”
As Jax embarked on his journey to rehab, Brittany revealed the underlying reasons that led her to finally confront her former partner’s serious substance abuse issues.
“I am finished with the role of protector for Jax,” she declared in a confessional. “He has been descending deeper into chaos. His behavior has deteriorated significantly. While I can’t say if he has hit rock bottom yet, he is alarmingly close. My son, Cruz, deserves better; I deserve better, and I simply cannot endure this any longer. I have put in so much effort to help him.”
