Cyberpunk 2077 Expands with a New Stylish Release

There are so very few video game worlds that have a visual identity as instantly recognizable as Cyberpunk 2077. The world of Night City is just drenched in neon, there are enormous corporations everywhere you turn, and you have to look cool if you want to get ahead — that’s how to survive there. The game has also evolved well beyond video games by this point, with projects like Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, not to mention merchandise and numerous collaborations, too. But now, you can look like you’re part of the solution in Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 has officially teamed with GUNNAR for a collection of glasses inspired by the game, including designs based on Dexter DeShawn and Militech. The officially licensed collaboration features GUNNAR’s lens technology designed to reduce digital eye strain while incorporating aesthetics directly inspired by characters and corporations from CD Projekt Red’s universe.

The Dex glasses are inspired by Dexter DeShawn, the larger-than-life Night City fixer who plays a major role during the opening stretch of Cyberpunk 2077. The wide frames feature an oversized angular shield-lens design constructed from magnesium aluminum alloy, with Amber, Sun and Amber Max lens options. They’re priced at $125 and come with a collector’s map-print microfiber cleaning cloth and padded sleeve.

Which Sci-Fi World Would You Survive?
The Matrix · Mad Max · Blade Runner · Dune · Star Wars

Five universes. Five completely different ways the future went wrong — or sideways, or up in flames. Only one of them is the world your instincts were built for. Eight questions will figure out which dystopia, galaxy, or desert wasteland you’d actually make it out of alive.

Mad Max

Blade Runner

Dune

Star Wars

01

You sense something is deeply wrong with the world around you. What do you do?
The first instinct is often the truest one.

A Pull on every thread until I understand the system — then figure out how to break it.
B Stop asking questions and start stockpiling — food, fuel, weapons. Questions don’t keep you alive.
C Keep my head down, observe carefully, and trust no one until I know who’s pulling the strings.
D Study the patterns. Every system has a rhythm — learn it, and you learn how to survive it.
E Find the people fighting back and join them. You can’t fix a broken galaxy alone.

02

In a world of scarcity, what resource do you guard most fiercely?
What we protect reveals what we believe survival actually requires.

A Knowledge. If you understand the system, you don’t need resources — you can generate them.

B Fuel. Everything else — movement, power, escape — runs on it.

C Trust. In a world of fakes and informants, a truly reliable ally is rarer than any commodity.

D Water. And after water, information — the two things empires are truly built on.

E Ships and credits. The galaxy is big — you survive it by being able to move through it freely.

03

What kind of threat keeps you up at night?
Fear is useful data — if you’re honest about what you’re actually afraid of.

A That reality itself is a lie — that everything I experience has been constructed to keep me compliant.

B A raid. No warning, no mercy — just the roar of engines and then nothing left.

C Being identified. Once someone with power decides you’re a problem, you’re already out of time.

D Being outmanoeuvred — losing a political game I didn’t even know I was playing.

E The Empire tightening its grip until there’s nowhere left to run.

04

How do you deal with authority you don’t trust?
Every dystopia has a power structure. Your approach to it determines everything.

A Subvert it from the inside — learn its rules well enough to weaponise them against it.

B Ignore it and stay out of its reach. The further from any power structure, the better.

C Appear to comply while doing exactly what I need to do. Visibility is the enemy.

D Manoeuvre within it carefully. You can’t beat a system you refuse to understand.

E Resist openly when I have to. Some things are worth the risk of being seen.

05

Which environment could you actually endure long-term?

Survival isn’t just tactical — it’s physical, psychological, and very much about where you are.

A Underground bunkers and server rooms — cramped, artificial, but with access to everything that matters.

B Open wasteland — brutal sun, no shelter, constant movement. At least the threat is honest.

C A dense, rain-soaked city where you can disappear into the crowd and nobody asks questions.

D Merciless desert — extreme heat, no water, and something enormous living beneath the sand.

E The fringe — backwater planets and busy spaceports where the Empire’s attention rarely reaches.

06

Who do you want in your corner when things fall apart?

The company you keep is the clearest signal of who you actually are.

A A tight crew of believers who’ve seen behind the curtain and have nothing left to lose.

B One or two people I’d trust with my life. Any more than that and someone talks.

C Nobody, ideally. Alliances are liabilities. I work alone unless I have no choice.

D A community bound by shared hardship and mutual survival — people who need each other to last.

E A ragtag team with wildly different skills and total commitment when it counts.

The Militech Glasses Bring One of Night City’s Biggest Corporations to Life

Then there’s Militech. The second design takes its cues from the heavily armed megacorporation, adopting their black-and-yellow color scheme alongside a tactical shield design. The frames use engineered polymer and are available with Amber or Sun lenses, with GUNNAR sayingthe design is intended to improve peripheral clarity while reducing digital eye strain and sharpening contrast.

The Militech glasses are priced slightly lower at $99 and include a branded microfiber pouch, cleaning cloth and matte metal case, alongside a 12-month warranty. The frames also block 100% of UV light and feature a G-Shield Plus coating designed to be anti-reflective and smudge resistant. Both designs are already available to order now.
