Travis Kelce remains a standout figure.

Despite social media users being misled by a seemingly AI-generated video that depicted the Kansas City Chiefs tight end with a heavier physique at the NFL team’s training camp, head coach Andy Reid dismissed any worries regarding Kelce’s readiness for the season.

“Well, he came back in good shape,” Reid stated during an interview with the NFL Network on August 4. “I know everybody’s out there saying he’s got the dad bod and all this stuff, but he looks the same to me that he’s always looked,”

He added that the 36-year-old is “just playing like crazy and done a nice job with everything.”

Moreover, Reid highlighted that Kelce—who married Taylor Swift in a grand wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3—is not distracted as he approaches his 14th season with the Chiefs.

“He’s focused in and ready to go and I appreciate that,” he continued. “When you have somebody that’s been here 14 years and wants to be out there every snap…where he’s gonna play hard and aggressive and not be stopped, that’s contagious.”
