In celebration of Lilibet’s fourth birthday, the Duchess of Sussex delighted fans by sharing a throwback video on Instagram, where she and the Duke of Sussex are seen joyfully dancing to the trending “Child Momma Dance Tune” while they were at the hospital awaiting the arrival of their second child.
In the video shared on Wednesday, Markle dazzled in a chic black wrap dress as she gracefully twirled around the delivery room, moving her hips and clapping along to the upbeat music. Her lively energy is infectious, showcasing the joy and excitement leading up to their family expansion.
During this heartwarming moment, Harry, aged 40, can be seen dancing animatedly on screen, adding to the lighthearted atmosphere.
The former star of “Fits,” who is now 43, and her partner, dressed casually in jeans and a green hoodie, dropped it low as the music commanded, “Drop it down, drop it down down low.” Their playful antics highlight their strong bond and ability to find joy even in challenging circumstances.
The couple, who exchanged vows in 2018, continued to dance until the video concluded. According to the National Institutes of Health, dancing can be a fun and effective way to ease labor and facilitate a natural delivery, making their choice to dance even more meaningful.
“Four years ago today, this also happened,” she captioned the post, reminiscing about that special day.
“Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy foods, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!” she humorously shared.
Markle welcomed Lilibet on June 4, 2021, adding another beautiful chapter to their family story. Alongside Lilibet, she and Harry are also proud parents to their son, Prince Archie, who was born in May 2019.
