Jennifer Lopez brought major drama to her latest night out in Los Angeles. The singer and actress shared a series of photos from the glamorous evening on Instagram, simply captioning the post, “Night Out.” In true J.Lo fashion, she made sure her look was anything but understated.
Jennifer Lopez’s sheer plunging D&G dress’ neckline dips a little too low at LA Opera Gala
For the occasion, Lopez slipped into a striking black Dolce & Gabbana gown that combined a daring neckline with a dramatically sheer finish. The plunging dress featured a structured bodice with a neckline that dipped extremely low at the center, putting her chest front and center.
The fitted black bodice then gave way to a long, flowing skirt crafted from layers of lightweight, semi-sheer fabric. The material became especially transparent toward the bottom, allowing her legs to remain visible beneath the floor-skimming layers as she posed on a staircase.
Lopez added even more extravagance by layering the gown beneath an oversized coat. The statement outerwear featured colorful floral embellishments against a black base, long fringe detailing, and enormous brown fur trim around the collar and cuffs. A pale turquoise satin lining offered another unexpected pop of color whenever she opened the coat.
The look was accessorized with a dramatic jeweled necklace featuring multiple dangling stones. She carried a sleek black clutch and completed the ensemble with towering black platform heels.
Her glam complemented the maximalist outfit without competing with it. Lopez wore her brunette hair in a polished low bun with face-framing pieces left loose at the front. Bronzed makeup, defined eyes, and a nude lip completed the beauty look.
The photos offered several angles of Jennifer Lopez’s D&G dress, including a full-length shot that highlighted its sheer skirt and plunging bodice. Another close-up put the dramatic neckline, necklace, and tan fur-trimmed collar on full display.
