Divorce Outcomes: Where They Stand Now

Bethenny Frankel from RHONY Introduces New Relationship With Shane L. Campbell Two Years After Split from Paul Bernon

Here’s the latest on Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy five years after their contentious divorce.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum did not hold back while discussing her ex-husband, revealing that the two are “not exactly” on friendly terms these days.

“We do both exist on this earth, so that’s positive,” Frankel quipped, after Friends Keep Secrets podcast host Benny Blanco asked if the former couple still “coexist” during the Sept. 29 episode. “It’s been a strained year. It’s been a challenging year.”

In fact, the founder of Skinnygirl—who finalized her divorce from Hoppy in 2021, nearly 10 years after their separation—described her legal separation from the businessman as “torture” and “traumatic.”

“There were a lot of circumstances that have been too much,” Frankel continued, adding about their “not garden variety” divorce proceedings, “Ten years on a two-year marriage.”

Indeed, Frankel and Hoppy, both 55, spent years in court following their 2012 breakup. In 2021, a judge finally approved the split, granting Frankel primary residential custody of their daughter Bryn, now 16, which allowed her to stop child support payments to her ex.
