Some members of the Royal Family stepped out for the funeral of the Duchess of Kent.

The Requiem Mass service was held on Tuesday (September 16) at Westminster Cathedral in London, England.

Katharine, Duchess of Kent was married to Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, who was the first cousin of Queen Elizabeth. She passed away at the age of 92 earlier this month.

Princess Catherine of Wales (aka Kate Middleton) and Prince William were seen arriving and paying their respects, while also greeting King Charles. King Charles is the Duchess of Kent’s cousin through marriage.

The Duchess’ husband, The Duke of Kent, and his daughter, Lady Helen Taylor, both arrived together.

Also in attendance were Prince Andrew and ex Sarah Ferguson, Princess Anne and husband Timothy Laurence, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, her granddaughter Lady Amelia Windsor, and Lady Gabriella Windsor, who is the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Queen Camilla could not attend as she is ill. “With great regret, Her Majesty The Queen has withdrawn from attendance at this afternoon’s Requiem Mass for The Duchess of Kent as she is recovering from acute sinusitis,” the statement from the palace said to People.
