Gaten Matarazzo Trolls Timothée Chalamet in New Comedy Promo

Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo is playfully teasing Timothée Chalamet in a new promotional video for his upcoming film Pizza Movie.

On Thursday (March 26), Gaten shared a video featuring himself and his Pizza Movie co-star Sean Giambrone, standing outside and enthusiastically announcing that their new movie will be available on Hulu starting April 3.

“It’s on Hulu, streaming!” Sean adds, also shouting. “It’s not in theaters; we wanted it to be in theaters, but they said ‘No!’”

The promotional style may seem familiar to those who followed Timothée‘s marketing approach for Marty Supreme, as he released a similar “yelling at the camera” video back in December.

To cap it off, at the end of the video, when it transitions to the Pizza Movie logo, you can hear Gaten say, “By the way, we want to clarify that we love ballet and we love opera!”

Sean then replies, “I don’t.”

“Why would you say that?” Gaten questions.

This quick exchange clearly references the Oscar-nominated actor’s recent controversy surrounding his remarks about ballet and opera.

A lip reader recently shared insights from a decoded conversation between Timothée and girlfriend Kylie Jenner at the Oscars earlier this month.
