i-D Magazine has not captured our attention for quite some time. Specifically, the last time the London-based publication intrigued us was when North West graced the cover – a full three years ago. The Bedford Media-owned title is now set to come under the leadership of Steff Yotka. For his final issue as editor, Thom Bettridge has enlisted none other than Gisele Bündchen as the cover star for the Fall 2026 issue of i-D Magazine. The Brazilian supermodel collaborates with photographer Collier Schorr for this occasion, with Clare Byrne handling styling duties. Against a white studio backdrop, Gisele showcases the magazine’s signature wink in the portrait shot, wearing a jacket from Aritzia, shorts from R&M Leathers, and a shirt from Polo Ralph Lauren.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Not even Gisele can save Schorr’s photography,” declared Melancholybaby immediately upon checking out the cover.
“So bad…” sighed MaraPiovani.
“It couldn’t be more boring if they tried,” remarked WAVES.
“What is that wink on the actual cover? She looks so awkward, which is not something I ever associate with Gisele,” pointed out forum member marsnoop2.
MModa commented: “Gisele and Collier [Schorr] are a bad match. The cover is proof.”
“Gisele will always make me go weak at the knees, but even I can admit that this cover/story just isn’t it. I don’t mind the cover image itself, but the art direction leaves a lot to be desired. Very amateur,” voiced vogue28.
