Taylor Ann Green has recently made a significant announcement regarding her future on reality television.
The beloved reality star has chosen to part ways with Southern Charm, concluding her journey after four impactful seasons on the acclaimed Bravo series.
Green officially shared this heartfelt decision through a post on her Instagram account late on Tuesday evening, a platform where she has connected with fans throughout her career.

In her poignant message, Green expressed, “This is a bittersweet announcement; after much reflection and heartfelt discussions over the past year, I have come to the decision to step away from Southern Charm next year with a heavy but peaceful heart.”
She continued, “The last five years spent with NBC and Bravo have been among the most exhilarating and unpredictable periods of my life.”
At just 30 years old, Green initially joined Southern Charm as a “Friend” during Season 7 and quickly became a fan favorite, ultimately receiving a promotion that solidified her role on the show.
“I will always be grateful to Bravo, the dedicated production teams, my Bravo family, and all the incredible fans who have supported me on this journey to become who I am today,” she added in her farewell. “It has been a wild rollercoaster ride, but an amazing one, to say the least.”

Green initially became a part of the Southern Charm cast because she was in a relationship with longtime cast member Shep Rose at that time.
Over the course of the last few seasons, viewers witnessed the ups and downs of Taylor and Shep’s relationship unfold on screen, culminating in their breakup in 2022.
In Season 9, Green found herself embroiled in controversy after she misled her close friend and co-star Olivia Flowers about an incident involving her ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll, who is also a close friend of Shep’s. This incident stirred significant drama among the cast.
Later, Green expressed her hopes to People Magazine, stating that she wished fans would watch Season 10 and witness a “different side” of her following the fallout from her friendship in the earlier episodes.
Currently, Green is in a relationship with Gaston Rojas from Bravo’s Southern Hospitality, describing this new connection as “different from any relationship I’ve ever experienced.”
“He’s an amazing person,” she shared during the most recent reunion special of Southern Charm. “He treats me wonderfully, and I intend to cherish him.”

It’s important to highlight that Taylor Ann Green is not the only cast member departing from Southern Charm as the series prepares for its 11th season.
Her announcement arrived just three weeks after Leva Bonaparte also revealed her exit from the show after four seasons, showcasing significant changes within the cast.
“I wanted to inform you that while this past year was incredibly enjoyable, I’ll be stepping away from Southern Charm on positive terms!” Bonaparte disclosed on her Instagram on March 26. “I find myself at a point in my life where I wish to dedicate time to my family and personal joys.”
She concluded her message with warmth:
“I may not have a particularly scandalous personal life to share, but I have many exciting projects underway that I look forward to revealing soon! I cherish my friendships within the Southern Charm family, wish them all the best, and will always be there for them when they need me.”
