Gothic Horror Series Rebooted by Warner Bros. After 60 Years

Nearly 60 years after it spawned a beloved franchise, Warner Bros. is officially rebooting <em>Dark Shadows</em>.

As part of the studio’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival appearance, Warner Bros. Animation announced its development of an adult-animated reboot of Dark Shadows. The new version of the gothic horror classic series is being executive produced and showrun by A Discovery of Witches alum Lisa Holdsworth, with Cathy and Tracy Curtis, daughters of original creator Dan Curtis, Eric Homan, Kevin Kolde and Fred Seibert also attached as executive producers. The new series does not yet have a network or cast, though the first concept art for the series was released, which can be viewed below:
