Hailey Bieber Addresses Paparazzi Claims and Online Speculation

Hailey Bieber just wants to drive her Yukon in peace.

The Rhode founder shut down rumors that she calls the paparazzi on herself while sharing her discomfort with certain photographers.

“The spirit behind it is very dark and I don’t think it’s something that anybody asks for in this world,” she told Interview Magazine in a piece published April 14, “so I find it really funny when I’ll see people online being like, ‘She calls the paparazzi on herself every day.’ It’s so icky.”

“Historically we’ve seen that paparazzi are awful,” the 29-year-old offered. “I don’t think it’s gotten any better or any worse.”

While she isn’t a fan of them, Hailey—mom to son Jack Blues, 19 months, with husband Justin Bieber—has found one use for paparazzi photos of herself.

“When you’re being photographed just leaving the house, you have to think about style in a lot of different ways,” she shared. “I’ve worn something where in person it looked great and then it photographed super awkwardly, so I’m a lot more conscious of it.”
