Benny Blanco is not showing off his usual look.
The “Eastside” musician (real name Benjamin Levin) surprised fans once again with his bold style when he displayed his new half-shaved hairstyle in a recent social media video.
“Oh my God,” Blanco—who donned a black T-shirt and several gold necklaces—began in the June 21 TikTok video of him strolling outside. “Hey guys, how’re you doing? I’m just a guy with a new head of hair.”
The 38-year-old revealed that the daring look was simply a way to promote his upcoming self-help guide F*ck Failure, writing over the video, “Pov: u just shaved half ur head so people buy ur book.”
As for whether he actually shaved his head? When Blanco and longtime friend Lil Dicky discussed it on Complex‘s Goat Talk YouTube segment on June 18, some viewers observed that it appeared the edge of what could be a baldcap was lifting near his ear. Blanco, however, has neither confirmed nor denied the speculation.
