Hannah Montana Superfan Alex Cooper Called ‘Creepy’ by Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus held a premiere event for the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special last night in Hollywood, and she took a moment to poke fun at superfan Alex Cooper!

If you don’t know, Alex, who runs the fan-favorite podcast “Call Her Daddy,” actually hosts the big event, which premieres today on Disney+ and Hulu.

While on stage at the March 23 premiere, Miley spoke about Alex‘s participation.

“…and Alex being a superfan,” Miley said on stage before having a little aside, saying, “kinda creepy.” The crowd laughed, and it was clear she was joking!

Miley continued, adding, “She’s also my neighbor which is also creepy. She got money and then she moved next door to me. There was no other host…yeah it was weird,” she said, all in good fun!

Filmed in front of a live studio audience, the special promises to provide performances of classics of “Best of Both Worlds” and never-before-seen archival footage from the beloved TV show, as well as appearances from her parents Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus, and an in-depth interview with Miley reflecting on the show and its legacy.
