Hannah Waddingham isn’t a goldfish when it comes to her daughter’s influence on her.
The Ted Lasso actress shared that “of course” her and ex Gianluca Cugnetto’s 12-year-old daughter Kitty has an unforgettable impact on the way she portrays Rebecca Welton in the Apple TV series.
“And the gift of my little girl,” Waddingham told E! News in an exclusive interview at the Ted Lasso season four premiere in Los Angeles July 27, “has taken me somewhere with my young lady in the show.”
Of course, it’s not the only way Kitty has affected her mom’s work life. Indeed, the 52-year-old—who stars alongside Jason Sudeikis, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein and Brendan Hunt in Ted Lasso’s fourth season, premiering Aug. 5—recently shared why she feels guilt “all the time” when it comes to her demanding work schedule.
“I’m about to go away to do press for the next season of Ted [Lasso],” she told The Guardian in an interview published July 18, “and the mummy guilt descends. But I have to try and combat it.”
