For Foxx, his near-fatal brain hemorrhage in 2023 taught him to embrace life to the fullest.
“A few years back, I went through something horrible,” he reflected. “My daughter made sure I got back. Now, having a new life and sharing it with my daughters is what truly matters, you know.”
As he expressed, “This is part of living—having a new life to live and share is amazing.”
Meanwhile, Foxx is cherishing quality time with his adult daughter. Hosting Beat Shazam alongside Corinne has been a highlight, especially with the series set to debut its 100th episode on ABC on Sept. 7 at 9 p.m. ET.
“Just being able to watch my daughter develop,” Foxx mused. “Eight years is a significant growth period to witness your child becoming something special.”
Indeed, the Amazing Spider-Man 2 star noted that it hasn’t felt like work at all.
“That’s part of your family,” he continued. “That’s what’s great. They say time flies when you’re having fun.”
