In a heartfelt statement, Jeff’s wife, Cori, along with the entire Sperbeck family, shared with TMZ, “It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Jeff Sperbeck. He was an exceptional father, devoted husband, loving brother, cherished son, and a friend to countless individuals, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all of us.”
The grieving family further expressed, “We are navigating this unimaginable loss as a family, alongside our dear friends, the Elways, and the many other clients that Jeff considered friends. According to reports from TMZ Sports, the tragic incident occurred when John and Jeff, along with several family members, were leaving a post-Stagecoach event on a Saturday evening around 7 PM, and Sperbeck fell off a golf cart driven by the Hall of Fame quarterback.
Following the fall, Jeff suffered a severe head injury, which was later identified as a traumatic brain injury, a critical condition that requires immediate medical attention.
