There are many iconic characters in cinema, but there’s no doubt that Indiana Jones stands out as one of the greatest, alongside figures like Darth Vader and James Bond. The whip-cracking and somewhat reckless archaeologist has appeared in films over several decades, with the earlier entries being some of the best in the genre.

Regardless of your favorite, there are numerous fans who appreciate the character as a whole, with Harrison Ford delivering an outstanding performance. If you count yourself among them, there’s an exciting new release on the horizon that you may want to consider when it arrives.

Indiana Jones Will Return In 2027

On the Sideshow website, you can find a product listing for a sixth-scale figure of Indiana Jones based on his appearance in Temple of Doom. Like all statues on the site, it is highly detailed and offers several display options according to your preference.

Primarily made from silicone, the statue measures 11.8 inches, making it a great size for inclusion in a larger collection on a shelf. Sideshow provided the following description about what fans can expect:

“Indiana Jones, also known as Indy, is a daring adventurer and archaeology professor portrayed by Harrison Ford. In ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,’ he is asked by desperate villagers to find a mystical stone and rescue their kidnapped children, embarking on a thrilling adventure. Indy’s charm, fearlessness, and resourcefulness have left a lasting impression on audiences, solidifying his status as a classic icon.”

“Today, Hot Toys is thrilled to introduce the 1/6th scale Indiana Jones collectible figure, bringing this beloved character from the movie to life. The figure features a newly developed head sculpt with a fedora hat and separate rolling eyeballs, adorned with detailed wounds and bruises for a battle-damaged look. The upper body and arms are crafted from silicone for a seamless design that beautifully replicates his lean and muscular physique.”

The statue is currently available for pre-order at a reasonable price of $310; however, there will be a wait as shipping is expected between January and June 2027.

It will certainly be intriguing to see how the Indiana Jones franchise evolves moving forward, especially as Harrison Ford ages beyond being able to physically portray the role.
