Jamie Foxx and his daughter Anelise Bishop delivered a memorable duet at the 2026 BET Awards.

“This is my daughter Anelise, give it up,” the Oscar winner introduced the 17-year-old, who accompanied him on guitar while he played piano during Kehlani's performance of “Folded,” a song they had been “vibing out to” all year.

He sang a few bars of the hit song, which is nominated for Video of the Year and Viewers’ Choice. Kehlani has already won Best Female R&B/Pop Artist at the June 28 event held at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater.

It’s no surprise that talent runs in the Foxx family; Anelise’s father has praised her piano skills for years, showcasing her musical talent.

“What’s been great is that we have been able to connect like that,” Foxx told Entertainment Tonight in 2020 about his then-11-year-old’s shared interest. She plays piano “so well that she actually plays my songs while I sing them. She said, ‘I am going on tour with you.’ I am blessed; we are all blessed.”
