When it comes to the bathroom, Julianne Hough isn’t dancing around the truth.

The Dancing With the Stars host confessed that her self-care routine is a bit unconventional, as she times her oral hygiene to when nature calls.

“I’ll brush my teeth, but then I’ll always have to pee. So I’ll be brushing my teeth while I’m peeing,” Hough told Marie Claire in an interview published Sept. 22. “Is that weird? I feel like that’s very unsexy. I can’t just be brushing my teeth.”

Still, the 38-year-old isn’t sidestepping the strangeness of her bathroom habits. As she put it, “I’m a hairless clean freak who brushes her teeth while peeing.”

But while Hough takes the throne when it comes to eccentric dental hygiene practices, she has previously explained how seriously she squares in on brushing her teeth.

“I love clean toothbrushes. Well, I mean, I hope everybody does,” she told E! News in 2018. “I have a full cupboard of just toothbrushes, so that anytime anybody comes over they have a toothbrush but I also change mine out very regularly.”
