Kathryn Dennis is currently facing another legal challenge.

In the complaint, reported by Us Weekly, Larry Patrick Griffin states that he was driving a 2012 Honda sedan in May 2024 and while stopped in traffic, was struck from behind by a Nissan pickup that Kathryn crashed into, also from behind.
As a result of the accident, Griffin asserts he “suffered serious bodily injury, pain and suffering, and mental anguish, and will continue to do so in the future,” placing full responsibility on Kathryn, whom he claims was “under the influence and sway of alcohol and/or controlled substances.”
In addition to the injury and mental anguish, he alleges that his vehicle sustained property damage due to her impaired driving, including a failure to exercise the level of caution that a “reasonable prudent person would have used under the circumstances then and there prevailing.”
Larry Patrick Griffin is seeking unspecified damages through this lawsuit.
If you missed it, Kathryn was recently ordered to serve a month in Berkeley County jail in South Carolina and was taken into custody on Friday (October 3).
While Kathryn has been part of Southern Charm since its first season, she departed from the show in 2023 after eight seasons.
