The fitted top contrasted with the skirt’s fluid, satin-like drape, framing her curves. Her hair was styled loose and tousled, and she completed the look with strappy heels.

The show marked Khaite’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, staged at the Brooklyn Storehouse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. While speaking to WWD, designer Catherine Holstein described the collection as deeply personal. Moreover, she said it leaned into a softer, more romantic energy than the previous seasons.

Specifically pointing to Gerber’s skirt as an example of the craftsmanship woven into the show, Holstein noted that “the back of it is all done by hand, all corsetry.” In fact, many of the collection’s details were “finished by hand.”
