We do not mind repeating the fact that British Vogue is a shadow of its former self. Chioma Nnadi’s name has now been inscribed at the top of the masthead for a total of 31 months, and covers simply do not slap like they once did. Not even offerings featuring the likes of Wunmi Mosaku, Nicole Kidman, and Daisy Edgar-Jones over recent months have managed to break new ground. Next up on the cover of British Vogue is Lola Young, who fronts the November 2026 edition of the magazine. The British singer-songwriter poses for photographer Mel Bles on the occasion of her Vogue cover debut. Styled by Harry Lambert, the Grammy Award-winning talent vamps it up in a Saint Laurent parka coat and Sergio Rossi heels in the cover shot.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“I’m sorry, but who?” asked Hchloe.
“We really have reached the pits of British ‘celebrity’. This is awful,” critiqued Kite.
“This is such a random choice for a cover star, but then again, Chioma’s fourth issue as an editor had Central Cee on the cover, so nothing shocks me anymore,” commented crmsn.
Vogue28 shared: “Another month, another dud of a British Vogue cover. I’m just numb to the whole situation and question why I’m even still subscribed. This cover in particular is an eyesore and so unflattering. I hate the styling, the lacklustre photography, the beauty styling… the fact that this just feels so un-Vogue.
“Change the title and tell me it’s from a third tier publication and I wouldn’t blink,” Thefrenchy chimed in.
“The bar is underground at this point,” disapproved Kimy Jo.
