ENHYPEN’s sensational new single “Loose” dominates this week’s new music poll with overwhelming support from fans.
On Friday, April 4, music enthusiasts participated in a poll featured on Billboard, selecting the beloved K-pop group’s latest release as the top choice among new music offerings for the week.
With an impressive tally, “Loose” garnered nearly 91% of the total votes, leaving other recent music releases far behind. Among the contenders were Miley Cyrus’ “End of the World,” Elton John and Brandi Carlile’s Who Believes in Angels?, Ed Sheeran’s “Azizam,” and Djo’s The Crux, showcasing a competitive landscape.
Released on Friday, “Loose” marks a significant return for ENHYPEN as their first new music offering of 2025, reminiscent of the boy band’s earlier musical journey. This track features a vibrant funky groove interwoven with soaring high-falsetto harmonies, seamlessly blending elements that pay homage to classic Motown while infusing the K-pop group’s contemporary flair.
Described by ENHYPEN’s label Belift Lab as a “seductive track with a cutting-edge pop sound,” “Loose” is poised to capture listeners’ attention. The group’s sophomore album, Romance: Untold, which was released in 2024, achieved remarkable success, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Taking the second spot in the poll was Cyrus’ “End of the World,” which received nearly 3% of the votes. This track is part of the promotional activities for the pop star’s eagerly anticipated album, Something Beautiful, set to be released on May 30.
Cyrus’ upcoming album promises to be a thrilling experience, featuring 13 new tracks along with stunning visuals created in collaboration with cinematographer Benoît Debie. The singer has co-executive produced the project alongside Shawn Everett, teasing audiences with a trailer that describes the album as a “one-of-a-kind pop opera” and a “unique visual experience fueled by fantasy.”
