“For a good time!,” Madonna wrote on X, sharing a logo for the instrumental album. The artwork uses the original album’s purple color palette and places the title around the speaker image used to promote the original release. Her accompanying message urged fans to “Turn up the Volume.”

Madonna earned her 10th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 when Confessions II debuted at the top of the chart dated July 18. The release gave the pop star her first No. 1 album of the 2020s and made her the first act with a No. 1 album in that decade to have also topped the chart in three other decades. The album also delivered her biggest streaming week ever for an album.

The 16-song Confessions II is a sequel to 2005’s chart-topping Confessions on a Dance Floor and reunites Madonna with producer and DJ Stuart Price, her main collaborator on the project. Other collaborators include Tainy, Martin Garrix, Mirwais, Cirkut and Andrew Watt. The album also features songs with Feid, Stromae and Sabrina Carpenter; Carpenter joined Madonna on the pop hit “Bring Your Love,” which reached No. 74 on the Billboard Hot 100.
