This intriguing film is helmed by Tod Williams, the director behind Paranormal Activity 2, which hints at a unique blend of suspense and terror that fans of the genre are sure to appreciate.
Details surrounding Malibu remain scarce, but it has been characterized as “a thriller lurking within the depths of the subterranean horror subgenre.” Production is slated to commence later this year, generating excitement among horror enthusiasts. Additionally, Randolph is not limiting herself to just one horror project; she is also set to appear in the highly anticipated ensemble cast of Scream 7, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on February 27, 2026.
In terms of Landman, the production team is actively working on the much-anticipated second season. Randolph portrays Ainsley, the daughter of the character played by Billy Bob Thornton. This series, created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, is described as “set against the backdrop of the mythical boomtowns of West Texas, presenting a modern narrative about individuals chasing fortune amidst the oil rig industry.
