As the weather warms up, so does the excitement from all the rock star birthday candles. The fifth month of the year is filled with rock star birthdays.
A diverse group of musicians will be blowing out candles this month. We wish a happy birthday to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame bassist Mike Dirnt of Green Day. Noel Gallagher may not live forever, but the Oasis guitarist-songwriter celebrates another birthday this month. Additionally, Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace turns another year older.
Do you share a birthday with Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor? The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be making his birthday wishes mid-month. He actually shares a birthday with Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, though he has a few years on the musician.
Can we drum up some birthday love for the one and only Alex Van Halen? And what better way to end the month than with a birthday? Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello sends out May with some birthday wishes.
