It isn’t merely Dana White‘s primary career that involves individuals potentially getting knocked out; this aspect also extends to one of his exciting side ventures — bull riding!
The head of the UFC, Dana White, does not physically mount the massive 2,000 lb. beasts (although he did once — more on that thrilling experience shortly), but he is heavily invested in the bull riding world. White has ownership of a bull named Playmate, who just recently competed in a prestigious Professional Bull Riders event.
“He’s a real tough competitor,” Dana proudly stated to Babcock during an episode of TMZ Sports that airs every night on FS1.
“Last week, he participated in the PBR, but unfortunately for the rider, they didn’t even make it out of the stall. Playmate knocked the rider out before they could make an exit. I have a preference for fierce, aggressive, and powerful bulls,” White commented, showcasing his developing enthusiasm for this adrenaline-pumping sport.
For your information, Dana White’s bull, Playmate, has only been successfully ridden once in a total of 11 attempts. This statistic underlines just how formidable he is!
It’s hardly surprising that 5-year-old Playmate is dominating the scene; he boasts an impressive lineage, as his father is the three-time PBR champion known as SweetPro’s Bruiser.

So, what exciting events are on the horizon for Dana’s remarkable bull?
“The World Finals are coming up in Texas. One hundred thirty of the best bulls globally will be bucking, and Playmate is set to be among them. I have a deep appreciation for the fierce, aggressive, and powerful bulls. He certainly fits that description!”
The World Finals will take place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas next week, and Dana White is extremely excited about it!
His passion for the sport is evident, but how exactly did Dana White become involved in the thrilling world of bull riding?
“I rode a bull back in 2015 while filming ‘Lookin for a Fight,’ and I completely fell in love with it,” Dana explained enthusiastically. “It brings me joy. It’s exhilarating and fulfilling for me. I’m truly invested in it!”
